Dr. Aniruddha Parikh is an assistant professor of otolaryngology – head and neck surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, and he treats a variety of cosmetic and reconstructive disorders.

His clinical interests from a reconstructive and functional standpoint include functional rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, brow lift, treatment of facial paralysis, microtia reconstruction for congenital ear deformities, adult and pediatric facial trauma, and reconstruction of the head and neck after skin cancer removal.

Dr. Parikh has had extensive experience treating facial paralysis during his training and is the only physician in Nevada to provide this care. He is happy to see patients with new onset facial paralysis as well as patients who have had facial paralysis for a number of years. He is passionate about providing a variety of novel treatment options for patients who suffer from this devastating problem. 

From a cosmetic standpoint, Dr. Parikh’s interests include rhinoplasty, face and neck lift, blepharoplasty, brow lift, otoplasty, chin and cheek implants, and nonsurgical treatments such a Botox and filler injections to help rejuvenate the face. During his fellowship, he was trained within a fully cosmetic multidisciplinary clinic where he not only learned from facial plastic surgeons, but also oculoplastic surgeons, dermatologists, and aestheticians to help rejuvenate a patient’s face in a holistic fashion.

Dr. Parikh received his medical degree and residency training from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He then underwent specialization in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Penn State University. During his fellowship, he had extensive experience treating facial nerve disorders in the Penn State Health Facial Nerve Clinic.

Dr. Parikh has published extensively within the field of otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery and has presented at national meetings. He has also performed facial plastic surgery on an international mission trip to Peru during his fellowship and hopes to continue providing international surgical care for those in need.
