Biography

Dr. Durette has been awarded distinguished fellow of both the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and the American Psychiatric Association (APA). A member of the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Political Action Committee Board, Dr. Durette serves on the AACAP Adoption and Foster Care Committee and is a Nevada delegate to the AACAP Assembly. In addition to teaching, Dr. Durette is an active advocate of children’s mental health locally and serves as chair of the Governor’s Commission of Behavioral Health. She is active in community service as well, serving the executive board of the BE A SHERO Foundation.
