Rita is a board-certified Nurse Midwife who has been practicing since the 1980s, bringing decades of experience and compassionate care to the community. Throughout her career, she has held academic appointments at the College of Southern Nevada and Touro University School of Medicine, in addition to maintaining affiliations with multiple hospitals across the Las Vegas Valley.

Before joining UNLV Health, Rita worked in private practice, where she provided comprehensive care to women across all stages of life. She is known for her deep clinical expertise, dedication to patient education, and commitment to evidence-based, individualized care.
